Brasa in New Orleans is a South American steakhouse located on Canal street in New Orleans.

Brasa has a very upscale feel, luxurious and refined dining expierience. For the week that I spent in New Orleans I found Brasa to be one of the highlights. We started the evening off with cocktails. I had an Old Fashion and the Mrs. had a Margarita and we were both pleased with our selections. Though the drinks were good. The highlight of the evening was definitely the food. I ordered the Australian Wagu Steak topped with lump crab meat. That steak was so tender and full of flavor. A serious OMG moment. The Mrs. ordered the copied me with the steak. The waiter suggested that we try the Chef’s grandmothers empenadas. The best recommendation by far. That empenada was the best I had ever tasted. Unfortunately we only ordered one. My wife and I were ready to duel over that empenada, it was that good. Ultimately though I had to give in. If ever in New Orleans go to Brasa.
